Partnerships and advocacy
Raisingawareness on viralhepatitis
Together for change
We believe that everyone, everywhere, has the right to access viral hepatitis prevention, testing and treatment. In line with this, our advocacy work focuses on the need to:
Raise awareness on the global health threat posed by viral hepatitis.
Build the financial case for supporting hepatitis elimination.
Integrate hepatitis programmes within the global health architecture.
Increase demand for hepatitis screening, testing and treatment.
Break down barriers associated with stigma.
Accelerate access to affordable, generic hepatitis treatments.
Partnerships and collaborations
We cannot achieve a hepatitis-free world alone. That’s why we work in partnership with communities, NGOs, national governments, global health organisations, industry and donors to identify and support high-impact initiatives with the power to end viral hepatitis elimination.
A leading voice
The Hepatitis Fund participates in global advocacy to increase hepatitis elimination funding. For example, by encouraging lead global health funders to invest more in hepatitis and to accelerate equitable access to affordable, generic hepatitis treatments.
